News in from London, England. The British Prime Minister exploded this afternoon at a garden barbecue to raise funds to demolish the Millennium Dome. First reports indicate that there was some accident involving lighter fluid and a cigar. The American President expressed sympathy to the British people, saying he knew all about the dangers of cigars. Members of the Women’s Institute are helping police with their inquiries.
On a more serious note, reports are coming in from Japan of a massive earthquake in Tokyo registering ten on the Richter scale...
CLARK
[Turning HoloTV off]. Uh, Lois. Would you excuse me for a moment? I just need to feed the parking meter.
LOIS
Yeah, sure thing, Clark. [As CLARK leaves]. I didn’t know you had a car.
CLARK
Uh, no. I have a push bike, actually.
[CLARK exits and turns into SUPERMAN].
